Great question- it depends on how slippery or snowy it is. If I’m running mostly clear-ish roads, I just wear my normal shoes. If I’m running on new snow, I sometimes throw on a pair of trail shoes that has more traction. And if it’s icy I sometimes put on yak tracks or something similar which are little rubber covers for the bottom of your shoes that have spikes to help with ice.
A newbie question—do you wear different shoes with more traction for outdoor winter running? Or just your regular running shoes?
